Gifted and Talented Program

Southwest Public Schools is committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities for gifted students and fostering their growth and development.

About Gifted and Talented Programs: At Southwest Public Schools, our gifted and talented programs are designed to identify and serve students who demonstrate exceptional potential in academic and creative areas. We offer specialized instruction, enrichment activities, and support services to meet the unique needs of gifted learners. All SWPS' campuses serve GT students. These students are identified in the Fall semester each year, and we provide services while utilizing the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted and Talented Students. Our teachers are trained every year to ensure they are providing the adequate depth and complexity needed to challenge our students.
