Celebration Hispanic Heritage Month
As a new tradition at Bissonnet, we are sharing a book with each classroom so that students may learn and appreciate more about the cultures of our school and stakeholders. This month’s book is BRAVO! Poems About Amazing Hispanics by Margarita Engle and illustrated by Rafael Lopez.
Teachers will share the book with their students and spread the message of strength in the experiences of others and deepen knowledge of the diverse backgrounds of our Bissonnet community.
As the school year goes on, another book will be shared to grow our understanding cultures, collaboration, and community.
Today, we would like to recognize SWS' Incredible IT Team! Happy National IT Professionals Day! We appreciate all that you do for our students, parents, and district.
