Gift Matching

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to Southwest Schools may be doubled!

Current Fundraising

Science & Math Kits/Manipulators
Purpose:  Visual representation of abstract thinking
Cost: $10,000

Increase the number of library books, in both English and Spanish, for all campuses.
Purpose: Increase the reading ability of our students which would result in higher test scores.
Cost: $10,000

Mad Scientist Program
Hands-on with focus on science and engineering practice. Aligned to STEM objectives
Purpose: Expose our students to STEM at an early age thus, increasing interest and career path options in the science and engineering fields
Cost: $6,249 per semester (2 classes per week at both campuses)


5th Grade Overnight
An experience that helps the students gain a well-rounded understanding of current issues, environmental respect, history, and human relationships.
Purpose: Develop the whole child. Build character and expose our student to an opportunity they may never have.
Cost: $6,400 per night for 80 kids


PC Tablets for incoming 6th & 9th graders
Purpose: In-class use to allow for engaging web-based activities
Cost: $45,000 annually


Sports Programs: Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football, Cheerleading
Purpose: To develop leadership skills, improvement of academics, strengthen ability to work in a team environment, and improve overall health.  Childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and tripled in adolescents in the past 30 years.
Cost: $25,000 Totals include registrations, uniforms, nutrition, and transportation
