P-TECH stands for Pathways in Technology Early College High School. As part of the program, students choose a career path and take courses that provide academic, technical, and workplace skills that are The Pathways in Technology Early College High (P-TECH) at Southwest Public Schools' Early College and Career Academy made its debut during the 2023-24 school year with its first cohort of 9th-grade students.
The P-TECH Early College High School's goal is to prepare students for higher education opportunities, as well as employment, through internships and hands-on experiences.
Through our partnership with Houston Community College students can earn: Business Management – Entrepreneurship C1.
The Business Management-Entrepreneurship certificate provides students with instruction in entrepreneurial skills, business principles, accounting, and real-life experiences through cooperative education. The program is designed to assist students in starting their own business
