Equilibria E-Colors

The Equilibria E-Colors program is a cornerstone program at Southwest High School. The E-Colors process helps to identify different personality styles which enable people to better understand themselves and those around them.

Knowledge of E-Colors leads to a heightened awareness that we do not all think and act the same and that we all have different communication styles and behavioral tendencies which are often largely linked to our personality.

Chevron’s management team found such success with this program, they assigned a special mentor to help teach and implement the program at Southwest High School.  There is a student representative for each of the E-Colors.  These students are expected to help their fellow students better understand the E-Colors program and how it can help them reach their potential in life.

Southwest Schools are also working with Sweeny ISD to further help our staff and students learn more about E-Colors.

Mentoring with IT Department

We are also fortunate to have a mentoring program set up with Chevron’s IT Department.  Members of their IT staff invite Southwest High School students to work with them and help teach them important job skills, and more importantly about the values and work ethic that will make them successful in their career.
