At Southwest Schools, parents can feel confident that their children are receiving high-quality instructional services in a safe environment through enhanced educational programs.

 

Parents Contract

As a parent/guardian who wants their child to succeed, I pledge that:

  1. I will devote myself to supporting my child in school and encourage my child to put forth his/her best effort in all the work that he/she does. This means that I will check his/her homework every night and if possible, let my child stay after school when he/she needs help.
  2. I will ensure that my child is at school Monday through Friday from 8:05 AM to 3:30 PM.
  3. I will allow my child to attend all Southwest Schools field trips.
  4. I will contact my child's teacher whenever I have questions, concerns, or comments about my child's education
  5. I understand that my child needs to follow Southwest School rules so that teachers can teach and students can learn.
  6. I am responsible for the behavior and actions of my child, including ensuring that he/she complies with the dress code.
  7. I will always make myself available to my child(ren) and the school, and address any concerns they might have. This also means that if our child(ren) is/are going to miss school, we will notify the school as soon as possible and we will read carefully all the papers the school sends home to us.
Failure to adhere to these commitments can cause my child to lose various Southwest School privileges and can lead to expulsion from Southwest School.
